Investor was established in 2003 by the publisher BizBrick
Corporation and author/investor Nigel Fenwick, it was designed as a way
to use the Internet to help educate people for free and to create
awareness of how investing in real estate can be used to create wealth.
Since then many people have written to say how much they appreciate
being able to access so much great information on the Internet. However,
an increasing number of our readers has asked us if we offer any form of
training to help them with building their investment experience. So we
decided to establish our coaching program in response to demand from our
readers.
Nigel Fenwick, founder of USHomeInvestor.com, was instrumental in
making this program happen. "I agreed to establish the Coaching
Program to assist people in developing the skills needed to be an
effective real estate investor," says Nigel. "It is important
to me we achieve success with each and every one of our clients. That
way we can build our business through word of mouth."
Our coaching practice was established with these principles in mind
...
- We limit the number of people we coach so that we can maintain the
highest coaching standards and give the attention we need to each
client;
- Each client is given personal attention, with a coaching program
tailored to the individual client's needs and based upon the
client's own specific goals and objectives;
- We follow a methodology that helps maintain high standards but
which also permits heavy customization to the individual's goals;
- We build a partnership with our clients based upon mutual
understanding and shared objectives;
- Should a coach reach the opinion that our coaching is no longer
contributing to the growth of the client, the coach has a duty to
share this opinion with the client;
- Each client is encouraged to refer our coaching program to other
investors so we can spread the wealth!
About The Founder
Nigel started out investing in real estate in the UK at the age of
18. His first property cost $4,000 and he secured a mortgage of $7,000
(175% financing) and sold it a year later for $14,000. That was while he
was in his second year at college. He went on from there, pyramiding the
profit from one investment into the next, always looking to buy low and
sell high.
When he eventually sold up and moved to the USA, Nigel obtained his
real estate license as a means of getting to know the US real estate
market better. This was the first step toward a recognition that there
is a significant lack of knowledge and available information on real
estate investing. Apart from late-night infomercials promising millions
with "no money down" there was a lack of help for investors
and would-be investors. USHomeInvestor.com was established to help
people learn about investing without having to spend thousands of
dollars on training courses that promise the world and often seem to
fail to deliver.
Our
coaching program follows along with the philosophy of helping people
create wealth through real estate. The website is free but the coaching
service requires significant time and investment from both the coach and
the coachee; for this reason we require or coaching clients to make an
upfront investment in the program. It is our goal (although not a
guarantee) to help our clients earn their investment back within their
first twelve months in the program. (We cannot guarantee this because so
much is dependent upon the client doing their part to create success).
